MODELA

Managed by two organizations, Emperifa and Casulo, the initiative works with entrepreneurs in the fashion industry living in low-income areas of the East Zone of São Paulo. Over the two years of operation, Emperifa has already impacted more than 400 entrepreneurs with training, workshops, mentoring and acceleration programs. Casulo, in turn, aims to bring a new look to innovative entrepreneurship in Brazil. Together, they have developed a complete path focusing on the entrepreneur and their development to generate significant results in business growth and survival.

We contribute to the design of the Modela program, promoting productive inclusion through sustainable development of businesses in the fashion sector in the east of São Paulo. In this way, we aim to have an impact on solving the most urgent challenges, building a vision for the future so that entrepreneurs can survive the pandemic, fostering sustainable business growth and solidifying a culture of management and planning of projects primarily managed by Afro-Brazilian women.
