The “One Million Opportunities” (1MiO) initiative, led by UNICEF, is a multisector alliance that mobilizes companies, civil society, states, and especially young people to promote opportunities for professional training, civic participation, and decent work for economically vulnerable young individuals aged 14 to 29. In just two years, 1MiO has brought together more than 160 companies, 7 states, 8 urban centers, 1,800 municipalities in Brazil, and created over 670,000 opportunities.
Besides financial support, we link the initiative with evidence from our studies, help promote training for companies on Productive Inclusion of young people, and work to grow the network and partnerships with public and private organizations.
